Crater Lake!

What a wonderful day and amazing weather. Thanks for getting all the kids their on time this morning. The rangers were excellent and had so much knowledge about the animals and geology of the area. The kids were troopers… hiking more than 4 miles and up a good grade to the summit of Garfield Peak…Difficulty: Difficult

Length: 1.7 mi (2.74 km)

Elevation: 7090 - 7976 ft (2161 - 2431 m)…. that’s 900 ft gain… Way to go Dragons!

Be sure to ask you student how the Caldera formed and about the Clark’s Nutcracker… Thanks kids for an awesome day!
Peace and Light,

Mark
